It's always exciting to see a new player enter the online gambling market. They usually bring with them aggressive promotions and freebies, top of the line software, and the latest and greatest in game offerings. The newest member of the online gambling community is Ignition Casino. Established in 2016, the company has been on the market for more than a year now and talks the big talk when asked about their offerings.

Rating Breakdown

While the Ignition Casino is new to the online gambling market, we were pretty pleased with everything we saw. Game variety and quality were extremely high which were big positives for the site. Their poker client, recently purchased from Bovada, boasted an impressive $2 Million in weekly tournament guarantees. That's not monthly, but weekly! Regarding areas we felt the site was lacking, we would like to see an increase in banking options as well as the addition of a live chat option with customer service. They do offer phone support which is probably better, but we still would like to see it as it is usually industry standard. Overall, we were pretty impressed with what we saw from this new company and expect big things as they continue to grow and evolve.

Game Variety

This actually would have been a five out of five except that the site doesn't offer live dealer games or any form of a sportsbook. If you're a slots player or a table game/casino game player, though, this site is a home run. There are hundreds of different games to choose from and a wide array of different variations of all of your favorites. What is nice as well is that the games are nicely organized and easy to find. A big perk as well is that you can play any of the games for free without creating an account to try them out first. The games also come from some of the top design companies in the industry so you can expect quality.

While the site seems to be reliable when it comes to cashouts (as per all of our research), they were fairly limited in the different banking options available. They did have some limitations on the number of cashouts that could be requested as well, though, this is fairly standard across the industry. They do offer a free check cashout every month which is great and is about 50/50 with other sites if you'd see that. Our guess is that the reason for the fewer options is because the site is newer to the market and they will probably expand this reach pretty quickly.

The bonus structure of Ignition Casino looks to be fairly consistent with the rest of the industry standards. The one thing we did like a lot is that the details of each promotion were laid out clearly and were easy to understand. Some sites have a tendency to confuse patrons so much that it makes earning the bonus feel like a chore. The VIP program had eight different tiers which mean your ability to move up the ladder will happen quicker, and you'll be able to realize higher level benefits quicker. With sites that only have a few levels, you can be stuck at a certain level for a long time and have to wait to see higher rewards. The more drawn out and incremental system does away with this and allows you to move up to higher levels quicker.

Customer Service

The customer service of the Ignition Casino had some good areas and a few small things we'd like to see some improvement on. The site offered forms, phone, and email support, but had no live chat function. Anytime a site offers phone support, it is a big win in our book. The ability to get a real live person on the phone is a . The email support was also good, and when we tested it, we received a response in about an hour with the information we requested. We do wish that the site had a live chat function for the days we don't feel like picking up the phone, but the other options seem to do a pretty good job of picking up the slack. With live chat, they would be bumped to a five of five on our rating scale.

User Interface

We were big fans of how the site was laid out and the instant play options. Instant play means that you are not required to download a program to be able to play the games, but can play them right away. This is a big win and something we're happily starting to see more and more as sites move away from the archaic client download model. The games were easy to find and were laid out and organized well. The games themselves were easy to play and had user-friendly setups. This is, of course, because the site gets its games from some of the top providers in the industry. When you pay up for quality, you get quality and the real winner here is you the player.

Game Selection

Starting our review with game selection, Ignition Casino is off to a strong start. The casino offers table games, blackjack games (which probably should be under the table games heading), video poker, specialty games, poker, and slots. This is a pretty extensive list of game categories that we will break down in more detail below. Regarding improvements we'd like to see, it would be nice to see some live dealer format table games as those are growing quickly in popularity. The site also does not have any sports betting options which are fine as a lot of sites choose not to be all-inclusive and focus on a more niche side of the market. Still, if you're someone looking for sports betting, this site isn't going to be for you, at least by itself. You could always join for the other games and also join a dedicated sports betting site that focuses solely on sports betting. Dedicated niche sites seem to do a better job thanks to the fact they focus on one sector mainly.

Table GamesTable Games

Ignition Casino hits all the check boxes when it comes to table game selection. Several of their games also had jackpots attached to them. Most of these were in the range of $15k - $43k. We're always big fans of jackpots as it gives you a chance to win big on any session you play. In order to play the games, you will need Flash installed on your computer which is understandable. This allows you to play the games without having to download a client or program to your desktop. The site also allows you to play the games for play money without downloading anything or even creating an account. This is an awesome feature as you can test things out long before you even think about putting a dime on the site.

Here is the complete list of games under the Table Games header on the site. As you'll see, they do list some of the blackjack games in this list as well (what we were complaining about earlier). Though it has no bearing on the review or the site for that matter, for some reason the Blackjack games were listed out of order alphabetically.

  • Classic Blackjack
  • American Roulette
  • Baccarat
  • Caribbean Hold'Em
  • Caribbean Stud Poker

Games Blackjack Games

Blackjack game offerings were pretty straight forward at the Ignition Casino. One thing we did like was that they had all the popular variations of the game, but didn't go overkill like some sites do with hundreds of different variations that are near impossible to navigate your way through.

Here is the list of Blackjack Games at the Ignition Casino.

  • Blackjack
  • Classic Blackjack
  • Double Deck Blackjack
  • European Blackjack
  • Perfect Pairs
  • Single Deck Blackjack
  • Zappit Blackjack
Video Poker Video Poker

There was quite a bit of good variety as well when it came to the Video Poker offerings at Ignition Casino. The interfaces of the game were pretty generic, but the sounds were fun and somehow made the game more fun to play. Again, you can test out the games without creating an account or depositing which is a big . One thing we did not like was that the games didn't give you the option to not ask for double or nothing after each win. Normally, video poker will give you the option to pick a card to double your money after each win or select never to be asked again. The latter option was not available which was a little annoying (at least in the game we sampled).

Here is the list of game variations for Video Poker on the site.

  • Bonus Deuces Wild 1 Hand
  • Bonus Poker 1 Hand
  • Bonus Poker Deluxe 1 Hand
  • Deuces Wild
  • Double Bonus Poker 1 Hand
  • Double Double Bonus Poker 1 Hand

  • Joker Poker 1 Hand
  • Joker Poker 10 Hands
  • Joker Poker 3 Hands
  • Joker Poker 52 Hands
  • Loose Deuces 1 Hand
Specialty Specialty Games

The specialty games section of the casino looks to be the category of games they couldn't categorize in anywhere else. This includes Bingo, scratch card tickets, Keno, and a few other random games. Again, you can play all of these games before creating an account or depositing which is awesome.

Here's the list of the games offered.

  • Sudoku Box Game
  • European Bingo
  • Tiki Treasure
  • Itchin' 2 Win
  • Gunslinger's Gold
  • Pirates Pillage
  • Penguin Payday
  • Cavalier Cash
  • 80-Ball Bingo
  • 30-Ball Bingo
  • American Bingo
  • Beach Bums
  • Cast For Cash
  • Keno
Matchplay Casino Poker

The poker section of the Ignition Casino is light years ahead of where it should be for a company this new to the market. This is because the Casino actually purchased the poker client and business of Bovada which is part of the Bodog Poker network. One of the perks of this network is that it is heavily loaded with bad players ("fish") and the software is great and tested as it ran on the Bovada platform for many years. Some of the nice features offered are big tournaments, Zone Poker, and an anonymous interface to play from.

The site boasts $2 Million in guaranteed tournaments every single week!

As this is a big section of the site, we have added a review fully dedicated to the poker experience at Ignition.

Slots Slots

Zombies versus Cheerleaders? Umm, coolest slot game ever. The Ignition Casino has some of the more interesting and alluring slot games that we've seen in a while. This is probably because most of their games are designed by Rival Gaming or Realtime Gaming, two of the leaders in quality in the industry. The remaining titles were produced by Betsoft and Genesis Gaming who are also no slouches in the slot game industry.

Game selection is incredible, and again, you can try out all of the games before even creating an account. Yes, we may have gotten side tracked from our review on some Zombies versus Cheerleaders for a few minutes.

If you're looking for your favorites, here's a complete list of the games offered at the Ignition Casino. It does look like they are constantly adding new games which are a great sight and a lot of the games have jackpot bonuses attached to them.

The Ignition Casino has some clearly laid out promotions that are fairly easy to navigate and figure out how to take advantage of. A lot of sites seem to muddy up their promotions which can make them a challenge to figure out and utilize.

Welcome Bonus Offer

Ignition Casino is offering new members a 100% deposit match bonus worth up to $2,000. The bonus is 100% up to $1,000 in the casino and the same in the poker room. Unlike other US-facing casino sites, they offer the entire deposit match as a single bonus that comes with a 25x rollover. Compare that to Bovada's $3,000 Welcome Bonus which is actually four back-to-back sets of bonuses, and you'll see why we like Ignition's offer better. We also like that Ignition gives members six months to earn as much of that bonus as they can. Remember - this bonus is paid out a little at a time, so you don't have to earn the entire bonus amount in order to make a little extra cash. The site does have information on the particulars for playing through and receiving the full bonus which was recently added.

Tell a Friend Bonus Offer

Referral bonuses are starting to become more and more popular in the world of online casinos. If you tell your friend to check out a brick and mortar casino, you're most likely not going to get anything for that except maybe a friend to gamble and play with. In the world of online casinos, though, there are bonuses for referring friends to the tables. You can earn 200% of your friend's deposit, up to $100, when they make a qualifying deposit. Of course, earning your referral cash is not that easy. At Ignition, you have to meet a rollover requirement that we think is a bit steep - 25x for slots, 60% for table games, and don't expect your play on Blackjack, Baccarat, Sic Bo, craps, or roulette to help you clear it - they're excluded. We'll point out that other US-facing sites require a 30x rollover on slots and tables games, so you're at a slight advantage with Ignition over their biggest US-facing competitors.

The Weekly Boost

This bonus isn't quite as exciting as we think the site owners thought it might be. This is a series of seven boosts available once a day for a week. Ignition Casino points out that their definition of one week is from Monday morning to Monday morning. This sounds cool, but in reality, it's just the same low bonus offer that you can re-trigger once a day for seven days. Right now, the offer is a 100% match on deposits of up to $100. Here's the catch - only wagers on Slots, scratch cards, specialty games, and keno count 100% toward clearing this bonus cash, while table games count just 60%, and all other games don't count toward it at all.

Ignition Rewards

This is a fairly standard online casino rewards program with eight tiers: Steel, Chrome, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium, and Diamond. The idea is to encourage you to bet more by offering reward points at a 1:1 ratio for all wagers placed at the site. The more you earn each month, the higher your status will rise. Each status update comes with a different offer of perks and bonuses. The top level, Diamond, is by invitation only. It comes with a personal VIP host, unlimited withdrawals, and weekly cashback and reload offers, a host of other goodies too long to list here.

Deposit and Withdrawal Options

When researching the deposit and withdrawal methods, it was a bit tough to find them at first without making an account. Apparently, they are not publicly posted until you create an account to play.

Deposit Options
Credit Card

Minimum Deposit: $20

Maximum Deposit: $1000

Minimum Deposit: $20

Maximum Deposit: $5000

We would like to see some more deposit options here, but hopefully, you are a winner and don't have to worry about this often. If you are a big player and want to deposit more, we recommend doing multiple transactions or ing the site and setting up special arrangements to fund your account. There are no additional fees with depositing, and all deposits are said to be instant.

Withdrawal Options
Check by Courier

Minimum Withdrawal: $100

Maximum Withdrawal: $3000

The first check is free every month. Additional checks are $50 fee

Minimum Withdrawal: $20

Maximum Withdrawal: $3000

Can be processed once every three days

It's also important to note that the site says that you can only request one of each option during a seven-day period. This is a little annoying but isn't out of line with most other online gambling sites. The secret is just to know the limitations and be prepared to take full advantage of when and how you can deposit.

Customer Service Options

Overall, we have heard positive about the customer service process. The site has three options available including phone, email, and form. The phone option is great to see and is a real perk. Nothing is more annoying than having a problem and not being able to get someone on the line about it. We actually tried out the email support ourselves and received a response back in about an hour which is a pretty good response time. It's also important to point out that they actually did answer our question.

It would be nice to see a live chat function, but I guess we can't get everything we want. At least they have a phone option available which could be considered a better form of support.
